As a nonprofit, we do not accept advertising on a paid for broadcast basis. Instead, we follow closely the National Public Radio fund raising process by soliciting charitable donations. We do not provide “quid pro quo” advertising insertions into our daily programming in return for such donations. However, following the NPR model, we mention sponsors and donors and thank them for their support on air prior to the airing of a program. Those mentions are made at random during the broadcast day and do not conform to any schedule or frequency for that day. Sponsor support mentions have no time limit for numbers of days aired and are expired at the discretion of station management. In the thank you message we name the sponsor, give a short description of who or what the sponsor is, and give a website URL if available. Sponsors are also noted on the KDWRadio.com website based on the category level of the donation made.
