Host of Chat With Pat, Patricia Petersmark
Patricia grew up in Michigan where she attended college, got married and raised five children. Patricia moved to North Port 15 years ago. She was visiting family in Sarasota and flew back to a snow and ice storm, at that moment she knew it was time to move to Florida.
Patricia has been very active in the community. She volunteered at the animal welfare league, ushered at North Port Performing Arts and volunteered at the Garden Club. She is currently the moderator for the conversation group at the North Port Library. They meet every Thursday from 10 to 11:30 in the Julieanne room to talk about world events as well as what is happening in North Port. She also became the Publicist for the North Port Coalition for Homeless/Needy Kids BACK PACK ANGELS. She has given talks about Back Pack Angels at NP Churches as well as to many other groups.
She became involved with the radio station when Gale West from WKDW invited Patricia on her show to talk about Back Pack Angels and her conversation group. They talked about an idea for a show and the rest is history.
